RUST Questionnaire

As part of the new board's commitment to delivering the very best for our members and fans as a whole, we have introduced a questionnaire to allow fans to make their views known on how they think the Trust is progressing and what they want the Trust to achieve for them.

Please take a few minutes to fill it in HERE

Your views would be appreciated and the survey results will be published on this site and hopefully in the local press.

RUST AGM

RUST held its inaugural AGM on Monday 13th May 2002 at the Carlton Park Hotel. The evening itself was about the Trust and how it can move forward for the benefit of fans. Supporters Direct and the club were at the meeting with Lee Shailer representing and Phil Henson from RUFC attending.

Following independent elections the Trust now has a democratically elected board of 8 people who are:
Chris Dobbs
Craig Saunderson
Richard Gaynor
Lee Rowbotham
Joanne Bott
David Veal
Mike Jolly
Rob Shearing

The first task for the new board will be to invite co-options onto the board from representatives of all groups who have an association with the club such as The Supporters Club, London Millers, VP's, RUDSA, etc etc

RUST Auction Raise's £600

The Trust managed to raise nearly £600 on the night, the majority of which was made up from the £300 sale of Martin McIntosh's signed shirt - which was bought by Mr Pearce and his wife.

Other items included in the auction were a Framed signed teamsheet from the victory over Sheff W, signed t-shirts, signed pennants etc

RUST Player of the Year

The RUST player of the year was Martin McIntosh, with Chris Swailes coming in second and Paul Hurst a close third. Martin McIntosh wasn't able to attend on the night so as a thank-you to Mr Pearce, we are organising for him and his family to present the award to Martin, prior to a home game this coming season.

RUST AGM

Another milestone for Rotherham United Supporters Trust our first AGM and more importantly the election of the IPS board to take the Trust forward over the next 3 years. This historic event will take place on Monday 13th May at the Carlton Park Hotel, Moorgate, Rotherham starting at 7.30pm.

The AGM is not an event that will talk about the club, but more about the Trust and what it has achieved to this point and what it hopes to achieve for fans in the future this is really a forum for our members views, ideas and opinions about the Trust to be heard by the new board. To this end we are inviting our members to put forward agenda items for the evening based around RUST and its long-term development.

This event is for members only and we look forward to welcoming them to another well attended and positive meeting.

RUST Claim Credit for Student Discounts

Rotherham United Supporters Trust are claiming their share of the credit for the introduction of student tickets recently announced by the club. The point was raised at our fans forum back in October and was duly passed on to Phil Henson and Dave Nicholls following a meeting with them in November.

Go to the 'so far' section to read the report from that meeting.

FANS FORUM 3

Further to recent press statements RUST are still very concerned about the long term future and development of Rotherham United. Because of this we are holding a third fans forum at the Carlton Park Hotel on 8th April starting at 7.30pm.
