One of the nicer sights on this season's fixture list was the reappearance of Aldershot as a league club.  In 1992, they lost their league status after going into liquidation and were forced to rejoin the league pyramid some five divisions further down (in the Diadora Isthmian League Division 3, no less).

According to our manager the team looked tired the other night against an enthusiastic but limited Aldershot side who wanted to progress to Round 2 of the F A Cup far more than we did. Well after recent performances they're not the only ones who are tired.
