RUST Ramblings 3rd January 2007
Rust Ramblings Newsletter

Welcome to anyone bothering to read this and a happy New Year to you all.

Since my last jottings, things have taken a decided turn for the worse with three defeats and two draws being the sum total of the last five fixtures.

Hi, Welcome to the latest round of opinion and gossip from the corridors of Millmoor. Firstly, I suppose that I should immediately join in the debate, the one whether they’ll sign or not, they being Messrs Hoskins and Williamson.

RUST Ramblings 1st December 2006
Rust Ramblings Newsletter

Another couple of games have passed since I last sat down to compile this newsletter and we’ve taken a solitary point. After the euphoria of October it’s back down to earth with a bump despite a fine performance against table topping Forest at Millmoor the other week. I didn’t travel down to Kent but I’ve spoken to some who did and although we might have come away with a draw our overall display wasn’t that brilliant according to eyewitness accounts. I suppose that it’s a bit mystifying after some of wonderful performances on our travels.

I suppose after four successive wins, it just had to happen! Having supported the Millers for almost my entire existence, I ought to be used to being let down but Saturday’s pathetic display was mystifying and unacceptable. We were entitled to expect better, much better, considering the opposition and I say that with all due respect to Peterborough. Unfortunately, this collective lack lustre display, with the possible exception of Hoskins, saw us exit this prestigious competition for another year and in the First Round.

Welcome to this somewhat belated edition of the RUST Ramblings, I’ve just returned from a brilliant holiday in San Francisco so you’ll have to forgive me for being a bit behind with the news. I haven’t been able to get down to Millmoor for the past few weeks but I’ve kept in touch via the Internet, local media and word of mouth.

RUST Ramblings 5th October 2006.
Rust Ramblings Newsletter

Welcome to the latest round of gossip opinion and rumour surrounding your and my favourite football club.

Three more games have been played and just three points added to our total. Unless we improve our points to games played ratio and quickly then we are surely doomed.

RUST Ramblings 21st August 2006 - Issue 142

At last! That points deficit has disappeared, okay we are on a magnificent total of one but at least we're in the positive. Since I last compiled the Ramblings, it's been another couple of weeks of inconsistency. Firstly, my fears were proven once again as that hoodoo of all hoodoos carried on with yet another defeat against those Spireites.

Paul Shaw came back to haunt us, we had one of those off days, which we always seem to reserve for Chesterfield and the rest is history and our large travelling support went home in tears. It wasn't so much that we were beaten, it was the manner of the performance that upset many, a lack lustre day that is best forgotten, at least until the next time we play them.
