I wish I could have been in the dressing room at half time at Don Valley yesterday. Whatever was said it certainly did the trick after an awful first half which threatened to completely derail all thoughts of finally eradicating that points deficit.

Thinking about this week's visitors immediately brings to mind the question of administration. 17 points deduction was a very bitter pill for all Rotherham fans to swallow. Try and imagine a 30 point deduction........it beggars belief.

One defeat and already those doubting Thomas’ (not you Mark) are predicting that the bubble’s burst! A goal in the last minute of injury time against our mother of all bogey sides and without our two regular centre-backs hardly constitutes disaster. Tomorrow we have a chance to get back on track and silence those critics creeping out of the woodwork.
